Elephants to travel through Thai airport |
Thailand's international airport was expected to see eight elephants
pass through on their way to new homes in Australia today (5
June).
According to officials from Thailand and Australia, the elephants'
destination is Australia's Cocos islands where they will be quarantined
for three months.
The animals will be part of a captive breeding programme, according
to The Associated Press.
